Kasper’s photography journey began in an unexpected way—after a workplace injury changed the course of her life. Unable to return to her regular work, she found a new purpose behind the camera. Starting with Underdog Productions, she quickly immersed herself in Halifax’s vibrant hip-hop scene, capturing the energy and heart of the community.

Since 2008, Kasper has been documenting the culture, performances, and moments that define hip-hop in Halifax. Her photos are more than just images—they’re a visual history of the scene, showcasing its evolution and the stories of the people who shape it.
